Falkirk’s well know historian Ian Scott reflects on the 300 articles he has written on the history of Falkirk that he has published in the Falkirk Herald including some humorous anecdotes behind the headline stories.

Ian Scott was until 1995 the Assistant Principal at Falkirk College where he taught history for a number of years. He is the present Chairman and past Director of the Saltire Society and a founder member of Falkirk Local History Society.
